Synth & Sound Design

I started my collection of vintage synthesizers in 2006 when I found a Roland JX3p at a flea market. Since then, my signature sound across the entire Endless series of games has heavily featured these vintage tones. I'm very happy to be able to work on real instruments that have their own unique character and a truly distinctive sound. Among my collection of about twenty instruments are "The River", an instrument made by french luthier Laurent Baloran, a Solaris by John Bowen (the signature sound of Endless Space 2), and an Alesis Andromeda.

For six years, I worked in sound editing, sound design, and mixing for animated series. I traveled extensively, recording natural sounds to build my sound library. All the natural sounds you hear in the games Endless Legend and Humankind come from these recordings. This naturalist approach and the layering techniques inherent to sound editing have significantly influenced my musical work.
